Reimagining the Classical Tradition

The finale opens with music from the film Hamnet, then ranges from Sam Perkin's darkly witty Freakshow and Gabriella Smith's exuberant Carrot Revolution to Takemitsu's tender Autumn Leaves, before Schumann's mighty Piano Quintet brings the festival to an end.
